We partnered with Leicester College to design a suite of careers resources to support students as they prepare for life after college. Building on the existing course guide style, we created three careers guides covering CVs, applying for work and interviews — along with easy-read versions for each to ensure accessibility for all learners. We also designed subject postcards outlining potential career paths by study area, plus ‘Secure Your Place’ postcards for schools and wellbeing-focused direct mail postcards for students transitioning out of college.
Leicester College wanted a set of engaging, student-friendly resources that reflected its vibrant community and practical approach to learning. The materials needed to stay consistent with the existing course guide style while introducing a scrapbook-inspired look that resonated with a younger audience. Our challenge was to create resources that were visually appealing and easy to navigate — with clear, encouraging information presented in an approachable tone.
A cohesive visual identity was created to use across the entire suite, using textured backgrounds, cut-out photography and hand-drawn elements to bring the scrapbook concept to life. Each guide uses strong typography and clear structure to make essential careers information straightforward and engaging. The easy-read versions distil the content into simple, visually led formats to support learners who need additional clarity. The postcards carry the style across subjects and campaigns, offering quick, motivating next steps for students. Our work with Leicester College continues as we develop new wall and floor wayfinding graphics to support navigation across campus.
