Athora

Driving sustainability forward

Athora is a leading savings and retirement services group that embeds sustainability in all its activities. We were asked to take on some graphic design work to capture the essence of Athora’s approach to sustainability.

A graphic featuring a scenic landscape with wind turbines at sunset and the title "Introduction to Sustainability at Athora."

The challenge:

Creative Triangle were appointed by ESG and Sustainability Consultants, Simply Sustainable, to design and artwork a Sustainability Report for insurance and reinsurance group Athora. This involved combining graphic design, branding and creative visual flair to produce something that reflected the way Athora approaches sustainable business.

A LinkedIn post by Athora displayed on a smartphone, announcing a capital raise of over €2.0 billion. A quote from Sandra Hoac, Director of Sustainability and Strategy at Athora, highlighting internal engagement and development efforts around sustainability initiatives. A diagram showcasing Athora's strategy for sustainable cash generation. A laptop displaying the cover of Athora's 2021 Sustainability Report, featuring a scenic landscape of mountains and solar panels.

The solution:

The 46-page report is rich with powerful imagery, infographics and pull out quotations along with a detailed appendix section. The report outlines the steps taken by the business to enhance its commitment to a sustainable business model and provides insight on key sustainability initiatives launched across the Group. Everything was crafted around Athora’s branding while also showcasing how we are able to use creative design to communicate complicated ideas in a digestible way.

The impact:

Senior Consultant at Simply Sustainable said:

“It was great working with Creative Triangle on the design and production of Athora’s first sustainability report. Creative Triangle really brought the report to life with visually engaging imagery and design. The report really captures the essence of Athora’s business and approach to driving sustainability forwards.”
