Quite rightly, more and more companies are required to meet increasingly rigorous accessibility regulations, such as WCAG 2.1. While inclusive design helps reach more people and ensure nobody is left out, it can be tricky to implement. The good news is that we can help.
Ensuring compliance with WCAG 2.1 guidelines was just one thing we were tasked with in a recent job we undertook for NHS Digital, the national digital, data and technology delivery partner for the NHS and social care system. The Annual Report was their flagship document, designed to be accessible, well-branded and to get complex information across clearly.
We were happy and excited to get going with this accessible design project. The full scope of work entailed the design and proofing of NHS Digital’s 144-page Annual Report and Accounts 2021-22. This involved the creation of infographics, charts and graphs and was all done within tight timescales with multiple stakeholders.
We completed this work within the time specified, putting all our effort into not only ensuring it met WCAG 2.1 guidelines but was also a good representation of the brand. We’re extremely proud of the work we did, and glad we were able to help NHS Digital broadcast their hard work.

“The team at Creative Triangle did a great job in understanding our brand and requirements during the design and production of our Annual Report and Accounts. They have been flexible and easy to work with, and as a result we have a clear and visually engaging report that has its own distinct look and feel to it.”
