We worked with the Heathrow People Team to bring ‘Flight to Extraordinary’ to life — the first major internal event for the People Team in over five years. Designed for 350 colleagues, the event set out to inspire, energise, and celebrate the team as they continue their journey towards making Heathrow an extraordinary place to work.
Heathrow wanted to engage its team with an event that felt exciting and different from anything they’d experienced before. The idea was to create an immersive, travel-inspired atmosphere that would engage people right from the start, encourage them to connect, and celebrate the spirit of working at Heathrow in a fun, memorable way.
We developed a bold, cohesive event graphic style that transformed the venue into a lively, airport-inspired space. Key elements included a welcoming skybridge archway and display stand to set the scene right from arrival; check-in desks and boarding pass tickets to make attendees feel like they were truly setting off on a journey; feather flags, walkway graphics, and outdoor banners to guide guests and build excitement throughout; large cut-out frames for fun, shareable photo moments; a standout stage graphic and glowing LED lightbox displays to create a strong focal point during presentations; and even the little things like table numbers, cue cards, and branded pens and notebooks.
