Reflective Toolkit

We were tasked by Nottingham University Business School to create a professional reflective toolkit for the Executive Programme in Strategic Technical Leadership.

The challenge:

We needed to create an on brand, easy to use workbook showcasing the three organisations (Nottingham University Business School, UK Institute for Technical Skills & Strategy and Technician Commitment) delivering the residential and interactive online workshops for the delegates – senior technical leaders from the higher education sector and research institutes.

A set of four images showcasing the leadership programme materials and participants in action. The top left and bottom right highlight the toolkit's design, featuring welcome content and interactive workshop details. The other two images display participants working with advanced equipment, reflecting the programme's technical focus.

The solution:

Working closely with the team, we created a workbook featuring programme lead profiles, workshop content and structured pages for participants to write their thoughts, notes and reflections. Using colours from the Executive Education identity, we clearly differentiated between residential and interactive online workshops and created distinct learning objectives for each session. With regular Teams calls we worked collaboratively to ensure nothing was forgotten. By asking questions about how the books would be used we were able to deliver what the team were looking for within a tight timescale so the printed books would be ready for the first workshop.

The impact:

Operations Manager, Executive Education at Nottingham University Business School, said:

“We had a great experience working with Creative Triangle to design our reflective toolkit. We worked together to develop designs that met our requirements and we are really pleased with the end product, receiving great feedback from participants on the programme.”
